Part II: Selecting, Sustaining and Stewarding Extraordinary Talent
As a story teller, Dee Ann weaves together her own experiences she gained while working at Chick-fil-A for over 31 years with the tried and true principles that have made Chick-fil-A so successful. Dee Ann’s mentor, Truett Cathy, founder of Chick-fil-A, taught her that “people decisions are the most important decisions that leaders make.” Over her career, she helped develop Chick-fil-A’s culture through the careful selection and stewardship of Franchisees and corporate staff. Her message focuses on helping others understand the key principles behind the secret sauce that helps Chick-fil-A deliver remarkable experiences to its guests and employees.
As is traditionally done, the PAO will honor our out going President, Dr. Hugh Friel, during an evening at Nemacolin. We are planning an outdoor event that should be enjoyable for all.

8:30am – 12:30pm Dr. Dan Bills: “The Empowered Orthodontist: Harnessing Technology from Scanners to Social Media to Self-Ligation”
New technologies are emerging daily. Some of these innovations are merely hype, while others are incredibly powerful tools to improve the quality of our clinical care as well as our practice management efficiencies and effectiveness.
During the first part of the course, Dr. Bills will discuss how the modern orthodontic patient uses computers, media and digital technology almost instinctively. As health care providers and members of the orthodontic team, we must connect with this generation on all levels in order to succeed both clinically and economically.
Dr. Bills will then explore the ever changing world of clinical orthodontic technology with an emphasis on self-ligation. He will explain his decade long journey through self-ligation, and the many benefits that it has brought to his patients and his practice. Clinical experiences and pearls will be shared that will benefit self-ligation and twin bracket users alike!
